Removal of Movies

I’ve noticed an eyebrow-raising number of movies (well over a thousand) have been removed from Trakt in the past day or so. Can I get an explanation for this apparent spring-cleaning?

What you’re seeing is the result of a cleanup. From time to time we remove entries that are duplicates, malformed imports, test items, or titles that don’t meet the catalog quality standards.

Can I ask: How are you affected by this? Can you share a few examples?
