Does anyone have a suggestion/solution for this?
You’d either need to add them all to TMDB yourself (Coronation Street (TV Series 1960- ) — The Movie Database (TMDB)) or somehow flag to the moderators that they need to use TVDB data from before S52 / 2011.
Emmerdale was the same but that was fixed a few years back.
Thank you for the reply, and sorry for my delayed response. If TMDB is not accurate (TMDB has 54 episodes for 2007; I have 261), then what? There is a Fan Wiki that has episode dates, names, and descriptions and I am happy to help with the work, but I just don’t know how or where to start. Thanks again for the help!
TVDB appears to be up to date - 289 episodes for 2007, though some are duplicated at the bottom of the list. The TVDB link is https://www.thetvdb.com/series/coronation-street
It looks like those were created by an admin on the site. You could open a ticket for them to address it but I have open tickets with no response for months.
Like Jameseh said, Your best bet is to get on TMDB and address all of them (TMDB at least has mods) or flag/report the show and ask for them to update it. I had old shows that I wasn’t going to manually do and they said they would see about it down the road (their not in a rush and will address other things) it will eventually get done but that may be months down the road.
Thank you for the suggestion. I have manually added some episodes on TMDB. Once they are on TMBD, does TMDB automatically sync with trakt (immediately, or overnight update, or just every once in awhile), or is there something further I need to do?
it can take up to 24 hours for updates on TMDB to make their way to trakt because TMDBs api can take a few hours to update and then for trakt to see those changes
