With the advent of V3, it appears that I don’t have a way to report issues with the release time of a show. At this moment there may be an issue with the upcoming season of Ted Lasso, which shows as premiering every Tuesday for the next weeks at 2 am EST. It is not available at this time. I’m already rasing the issue of the date with TMDB mods and they assert the date is right for the season premiere of August 5 and that it will be available at the equivalent of 10pm EST on August 4 (today). If what the mods say is true, this needs to be corrected on Trakt because they say they can’t adjust any release time on their end, only date. Thank you for your attention.
Ah, android app. I don’t believe it’s there yet. It’s on iOS side. At least you can use the web for now.
because you are on the android app, you can report from the website until it’s available on the android app.
So I was able to report it, but why can’t I see any updates of my reports? That was always a helpful part of the platform when I used to report things to make them more accurate.
I saw someone mention that on another post here recently. It seems that’s not something that got moved over to V3. They say once requirements are met for TMDB that import is automatic. I can only guess that they expect the refresh to be the same and want folks to use this forum to report issues with those processes. Trakt support or leadership would have to provide more information for that.
The thing is, by TMDBs own admission, they don’t have a way to set release times, when it’s inaccurate, nor can they set something like a Series Premiere or Series Finale or a Mid Season Finale or Premiere like what I really enjoyed in Trakt V2. I really hope they bring that back because TMDB is not the end all and be all.
