When sorted by release date:
When you sort by release date, it sorts by all available shows and puts them in order of which shows had the most recent episode to come out. However, this is not what this sort function is most commonly used for, as when I do this, One Piece (where the episode I am on released in 2000), is placed on the top row of most recent releases, along with a show that premiered last week. Sort by release date needs to show the episode you are on being sorted, so that when you watch a show within a universe (think DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Chicago PD, Etc) you are watching in the order they came out amongst all programs for that universe.
