It would be nice to get some kind of info, where things are standing. It’s been almost a month since the last info.
Sorry about that! We’re still trying to track down the issue. We’ll post here once we have an update.
Is there an update to this issue? There are still a lot of Episodes and Movies that have less plays than watchers. It’s been over a month since the last info.
No updates yet, unfortunately
We’ll post here once we have any.
Are there any updates to this, because the newer episodes and movies again don’t display any plays? This issue has been going on since April.
I thought this had been fixed already, sorry about that! Can you provide a few specific examples?
Thanks for the info! I let a developer know and they think they’ve found the issue. ![]()
Other Things i noticed is that for example One Piece or The Walking Dead are only showing 400k plays although almost every season has over 1 million plays on their own.
I feel like some of these stats are just plain misleading.
Maybe I’m mistaken but it looks to me like the way season counts are being tallied are by adding up the total of each episodes play stats.
For example The Walking Dead each individual episode has around 210K-216K watchers with somewhere from 253K to 276K plays. The season itself shows 1.5M plays though. That seems to be the result of adding up episode 1 through 6. Is that really an accurate way to tally or to judge the popularity of something?
A better method would be to show the number that represents how many watchers have played every single episode. Or average it out somehow. Adding it all together is just not a metric that means anything.
Season level play count would add all episode plays. It also has a watcher count, which is the user count. These are just the raw stats, I’m not sure I see the problem?
I don’t have a problem with that, but what i was trying to say is the total play count of the series is less than the total play count of each season. Because Season 1 of Walking Dead has a total play count of 1.5 million but the whole series has a total play count of 400k. The whole series can’t have smaller play count than each season.
