Sync with Mal

Can’t sync trakt with my mal account… Help!

It says unauthorized. Did you try to re-authorize?

I’m pretty sure the extension was discontinued. @sp1ti is the developer.

I did… I get the same page

Thanks for bringing this to my attention… it was running just fine on the weekend. I’ll have to look into what’s going wrong or has changed.

Probably related to this since I don’t store any tokens (which is why it asks everytime)… at least that is something that changed just recently.

I’m not entirely sure why but trakt didn’t like something in the oauth flow… since that sucks in php I’ve deployed a new machine that is more up to date than a server from 8 years ago and has access to newer libraries (since în-place updating only bricked it).
→ it’s working again.

ooooo right my bad HAHHAa\

but… i did some google searching and I found your old script:

I downloaded even though it said it was outdated, and i changed the urls with the list of movies and shows to your new ones

https://anitrakt.huere.net/db/db_index_movies.php
https://anitrakt.huere.net/db/db_index_shows.php

and miraculously it works!

Haven’t found bugs yet!

Maybe it’ll help your with getting it back up!

// EDIT: Oh and if you’re gonna work on it, it would be really cool to have a link to Trakt on the MAL pages too :eyes:

Thank you very much for fixing it… Really appreciate it

Sorry for bothering you but help

Probably something @sp1ti can fix related to this

probably a temporary trakt issue. looks like you were able to sync after this?

@sp1ti

I’m getting these errors, don’t know if helpful or not.

Thanks for reaching out. Please try again - it should be working for you now. Wasn’t aware the usernames can contain spaces. Changed it to use the proper field without it.
