The like button aka "Favorite" feature is not working

Hello,

I’m experiencing an sudden issue with the Favorites feature on my account.

When I click the heart icon to add any movie or TV show to my Favorites, nothing happens. The heart doesn’t fill, there’s no animation, and no error message is displayed.

Here are the details:

The issue occurs on both the Trakt website and the Android app.

It affects every movie and TV show I’ve tried.

My Watchlist works normally, so I can still add titles there.

My Favorites list already contains existing items, but I cannot add any new ones.

I’m logged into the correct account, and the issue persists across platforms.

Is there anyone else experiencing this?

Can support team please check whether there’s an issue with my account or if this is a known bug? If you need any additional information, I’d be happy to provide it.

there’s a limit to the number of items in the favorites of 100. if you’ve got 100 items already (or more if possible) then that’s probably why

But a 100-item Favorites limit is far too low

i’d say 100 is plenty otherwise you’re list has less meaning. you may want to separate your favorites into lists like favorite movies, favorite tv, etc

First of all, it should display an error message when you’ve reached the limit. I spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong because the Favorites button simply stopped working.

Second, I’ve watched around 2,000 movies and TV shows combined. How is a limit of 100 supposed to be enough?

i agree it should show the reason it’s not working.

that’s the point of a favorites list, that’s why many places do the top 100 items for the year/decade/genre

i also have nearly that many watched. 100 is too many
