My trakt is full and hasn’t been working.

How can I delete it and create another one? It won’t allow me to use the same email with a new password so what do I do?

Can you explain a bit better?

  • What do you mean by “full”?
  • Are you having issues with what exactly?

If you really want to delete your account I can explain how to, but this might not be necessary, that’s why I’m asking.

I’m having difficulty explaining this properly…sorry.

The problem is that I had over 100 shows in my TRAKT. It will no longer allow me to add any more even if I delete some.

So I can’t use my TRAKT account to add to my new box because it’s not working properly.

I have tried to create new accounts but have used up all email address’s I have. Is there any way to use the same email and change the password to create a new account? It doesn’t seem to let me do that.

Now we have so many trakt accounts that we are no longer using and I don’t know how to clean them up.

Alright, I understand. The thing is, the “Watchlist” and your other lists are limited to 100 items, but that list is only for things you want to watch, not the things you have already watched. The things you have already watched go to your history and that is unlimited.
I’m just trying to clear out any doubts about that limit.

Even knowing that, you still want to delete your account?
If you do, just follow these steps:

Trakt is free to use with a standard account, for as long as you’d like. We also offer an optional VIP membership which unlocks a lot of awesome features.

To delete your account, sign into the website, then go to your advanced settings. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the option to delete your account. If you are VIP, please cancel your VIP membership before deleting your account.

Deleting your account is permanent and it cannot be restored. Your personal information will be removed and your statistical data will be anonymized.

Another option is to set your profile to private. This hides your data from being publicly visible, but keeps your account active if you decide to use it again in the future.

Please also refer to our privacy policy which explains data removal and retention in more detail.

Thank you for all your help. I just can’t figure it out. So I think I will have to use my shows without using TRAKT. It was a great tool but because I can’t use the same email to create a new account I will have to check them off manually.
