I am watching some shows that are outside US and UK. For that data I reported on TMDB incorrect data, in this particular case TV Show Games of love and power but nothing happens there. TV Show has 70 episodes and some genius there added 6 more episodes which I reported. That was two months ago but nothing happens there. Is there a way to speed up this process or contact someone who can correct this? I dropped that show for now but it would be nice for episodes to be deleted so I can complete it.
Good luck with that! TMDB are a law unto themselves and often ignore user input if they don’t agree with it, even if it is correct.
What I have done in instances like this, rightly or wrongly, is to create a list of “Episodes Marked as Watched That are Incorrectly Added to Trakt” and then mark them as watched using a date and time of 01 January 1950 00:00.
This way I have a list of “wrong” episodes but the series/show is completed so doesn’t show up on my “Next Up” and if by chance the items do get corrected then the list will correct itself if the episode is removed.
As I said maybe not the best idea but I find that a better way than dropping shows. Just a thought.
Hi, what is the title of the show so I can take a look?
In these cases you can report the show/movie/season/episode on Trakt and I can fix it on Trakt and on TMDB.
The date is correct and tv show is finished in the US week before than in Mx. However, somebody added extra episodes afger show finished in US and that data is incorrect. show has 70 episodes and not 76.
Thanks!
I’ve checked the official website of that show and it indeed only has 70 episodes, so I removed the extra ones on TMDB and I will removed them from Trakt tomorrow(if I delete them right now, they might show up in a refresh, so I’ll remove them once the system detects that those episodes have been removed on TMDB).
EDIT: I removed the episodes on Trakt, so the show is now fixed. Thanks for reporting!
Yes, I am one now. This was a recent change.
So if there are any reports there with good official sources(like you mentioned) you can just report the pages on Trakt and I’ll take a look on both ends.
