Trakt does not track

TRAKT has not worked on ALL my computers for many months - sure it lists all my shows & I can watch - BUT , again MONTHS trakt does not TRACK ~ at all ~ my watched shows ( in kodi ) . Is there a remedy ? if so ? , or are they looking for $

Try reconnecting / re authenticating in kodi

Been with kodi since version 14 . If not authenticated there would be no compilation of of my tv shows - I got that - and I can pull from that list and watch ( thank you RD ) . BUT , does not track - does not mark anything as watched

June 29th was the last time that functioned , in all addons

24th of June for me, I’m using Plex and it’s not updated a thing since 24th June 2024

I just purged Kodi and did a fresh install - that’s what I do - I had forgotten . It’s all good

Thanks for responding, unfortunately I’m using Plex not Kodi and the link that another member (Kristin) suggested lead me to understand that Scrobbling now required VIP membership for it to work.

kodi had a few rough years , I stuck with it - they made it great again - it’s close to perfect . Mabey 12 years I’ve had it , plex requires VIP . I can watch ANYTHING with no V - I - P . I have had no other servive

I think you need plex pro/paid version to enable scrobbling/using web hooks. I don’t know if you need VIP on trakt.

I have a Plex VIP account as that’s a lifetime account so worth every penny IMHO. I would be happy to pay for a lifetime with Trakt if it was reasonable but they so far don’t do one.

I’ve never given a dime to Trakt

Kodi works with the combination of Trakt ( totally free ) and the sources from Real Debrid - $17 every 6 months

I’ve used both Kodi and RD in the past but wifey didn’t like waiting when we would get the occasional buffering issues or unable to get to watch what we had planned to watch due to lack of viable streams. Plex works fine with pre downloaded content which for me is better than Kodi, but I do miss Trakt just because there’s so many films and series that we’ve forgotten that we’ve watched in recent months / years especially while we used IPTV services. I might reconsider Kodi and RD again at some point…

There are tweeks to stop the buffering , that and today’s faster internet . Search Pooptube , you’ll find them

Everything needs to be modernized - fast modem and router - I use cat 7 ethernet cables ( I like to hard wire ) and 4k hdmi cables . I watch 2K and 4K movies using links of 50gb to 100gb

Thanks I will give it a whirl when I have a bit of spare time. Given that the weather here in Spain has taken a bit of a down turn it might be sooner rather than later/ Thanks for the advice.
