Trakt on Kodi only syncs tv shows but not movies?

Hi! I may need some help :upside_down_face:

Issue:

  • After a fresh Kodi installation and setting up of the Trakt add-on, TV shows and episodes sync correctly, but movies do not sync at all.
  • When I run the Trakt add-on, I can observe that the action “124 movies will be added to the collection” ends instantly. The remaining actions load correctly.
  • Additionally, as it shouldn’t, I get no real-time notification on my phone or notebook while watching a movie or TV show.
  • Apart from that, everything works completely fine with Kodi

Info:

  • OS: Android TV 12.0 (Nokia 8010 Streaming Box)
  • All files are stored in an external hard drive and are named accordingly, and all files are identified by the Info provider add-on (The Movie Database Python, version 3.1.1). Movies and movie titles are in english, as well as the Kodi’s default language and the info provider add-on’s language setting.
  • Kodi Build: 21.1
  • Trakt version: 3.7.0
  • No additional/external add-ons

We aren’t really able to provide support for 3rd party apps, and your Trakt account appears fine on our end. I wonder if the issue has something to do with the number of movies you’re trying to add though? Free trakt accounts are limited to 100 items total (shows+movies) in your collection. It looks like you already have 30 shows in your collection, so you’d only be able to add 70 movies.

Thank you, it was in fact the numbers of movies in my free account. No problems when upgraded to VIP.
