I’m receiving this message every time I open app.trakt.tv. This only happens in Safari. I tried on Chrome and it works perfectly. I cleared all the cookies from Safari, disabled content blockers and adblock. Didn’t help. Old Trakt and the IOS app work just fine.
trakt has been up and down all day, not stable enough since this morning to do anything on the api, currently I’m getting the same problem on app.trakt also . still on going 500 server errors via the api so something still wrong on trakts end.
yea i also used to look at the status page, but it has never been helpful through all trakt outages, 1 time notes were included, im sure it used to be more used, and useful but over the years its just a page that shows a nice picture of systems running..
Try using a VPN or cellular data.
It seems that some people are not able to access the Trakt API from our home network/ISP.
any have any luck? i notice still the same with the app.trakt it will come online then go offline again been like that since morning of the 5th, with the api sometimes trying to authorize it throws a error, occasionally it’ll display the code, then i cancel try again throws an error, all 500 errors, sometimes i can access trending, popular etc… ongoing 16 hours+ now, Trakt yet to respond on any support location, several different spots people reporting the same (other discussions here, reddit, and on X)

It’s been down for me since yesterday. I can’t login to Trakt’s own official app at all or Showly to sync everything, yet no word from anyone from the team on this at all and the status page says it’s all good …
Edit: looks like it’s back up, at least for now, but it did come back up and down for me yesterday too. Hopefully fixed, but with no communication on this at all as if nothing happened, who knows?
Seems to be working fine now.
