  • TV show has Seasons with Episodes that don’t exist on Tmdb

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • The TV show “The Old Fox” has a few Seasons on Trakt that don’t exist on either Tmdb or TVDB. For example Season 48 on Trakt shows 16 episodes. But on Tmdb and tvdb there are only 9 episodes. The same for Season 52 16 on trakt and 8 on tmdb. And Season 53 on teakt has 9 episodes where tmdb has only 8.

Another thing i noticed is, that trakt shows that this series has 546 episodes. That’s also wrong, the series has currently 478 episodes.

I took a look and IMDB (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075474/episodes/?season=53) shows 53 seasons while the TMDB and TVDB show 55. I did find this site (movie meter) that also has 55 seasons so will assume 55 is correct.

On TMDB, there was no English translated name so I added that. Also added alternative name while at it.

As for the extra episodes, are TVDB and TMDB correct?

Yes, 55 Seasons are correct. TMDB has the correct amount of episodes.

I’ve removed the incorrect episodes and the show should now match TMDB.

Thanks, the episodes are now correct, but the air dates don’t match tmdb, they match tvdb. Or is it still importing?

Hi,
I’ve just migrated this show from TVDB to TMDB, so it might take a while to all data to show up correctly, since this show has a lot of episodes.
