You don’t need to wait, you can cancel it now. Unfortunately I’m also out. I don’t really use the VIP features anyway so doubling the price just seals the deal.

I am the same, I didn’t get any kind of special pricing when I joined and now it’s just doubling in price for no reason? I hardly use the features and mostly just am a VIP member to support a site that I like, but this 100% price hike is insulting.

I, too, am currently cancelling my membership. This practice borders on predatory and, instead of rewarding supporting members you double their price. You are clearly failing to acquire new users and are taking this out on your existing userbase instead of figuring out how to better market your webs…

I just turned 11 with my Trakt account, what a sad things to read :c Well it was fun while it lasted, I will keep my free account tho 30 usd for statistics and a nice service was a fair price to me but 60 seems a little too much

Amazing. Twice the price and it goes into effect the day before my renewal. It would be my 10th year as VIP and I’m not sure I’ll be letting the renewal go through. I also used to actually get emailed back when I emailed support, but that doesn’t seem to happen anymore so what’s the point in paying …

Insulting is exactly the right word. VIP for 8 years to support a website I love(d).
