I’ve been a member for many years, but I’m disappointed to see my membership double in price. No chance of a gradual rollout? I will most likely cancel my membership looking at a 100% price increase.
Yeah what a shock! Double the price with no new features or benefits? My renewal isn’t until November but I have cancelled. Maybe if enough of us do, the increase won’t be worth the lost memberships.
Also what a terrible email. “Thank you for supporting us all this time, now pay us double”. Outta here with that…
I’m the same. I can’t justify a 100% increase especially when a lot of the features I’ve been waiting for are still not available. Sorry, but I won’t be renewing when my subscription expires. It’s been a great 8 years but I need to look elsewhere now.
You don’t need to wait, you can cancel it now. Unfortunately I’m also out. I don’t really use the VIP features anyway so doubling the price just seals the deal.

What I understand from the mail I received : “Hey, thank you to have been a VIP for years and help us gros Trakt, NOW, forget about the promesses about old VIP who continue to pay the price they paid for years, next renewal, you’ll have to pay the same price, you knowm this absurd amount of 60$, Regards”
I, too, am currently cancelling my membership. This practice borders on predatory and, instead of rewarding supporting members you double their price. You are clearly failing to acquire new users and are taking this out on your existing userbase instead of figuring out how to better market your website. Whilst I will certainly miss some of trakts functions, I definitely won’t miss your shitty algorithm that is only capable of recommending the most mainstream of trash.

30 usd for statistics and a nice service was a fair price to me but 60 seems a little too much
Amazing. Twice the price and it goes into effect the day before my renewal. It would be my 10th year as VIP and I’m not sure I’ll be letting the renewal go through.
I also used to actually get emailed back when I emailed support, but that doesn’t seem to happen anymore so what’s the point in paying
