Hi, I’m glad to see that a new Progress Page is being worked on. I’d like to ask if any sorting options are planned for it? Currently the In Progress section sorts the shows based on how many episodes we’ve got until completion.
That in itself is a bit chaotic, since the shows we’re currently watching can sometimes be spread all over the place, especially if you’d just started a long running sitcom or a reality show like Survivor. Hopefully more sorting options will be added soon.
That issue is specific to the WEB version. I’m an Android user, so I’ve got no idea if that’s already been addressed in the iOS version of the service where some of the new features arrive first.

I completely agree with you: the new “Progress page” absolutely needs different sorting options to be even vaguely useful. In its current state, it’s completely useless. But above all, a progress page should at least show the actual progress as a percentage. Don’t you think?
Frankly, I don’t know if anyone is listening to our requests. I’m concerned that the request to have a “Progress page” back was recently dismissed with the reason: “that now exists in V3.” That’s a joke! I appreciate that something is moving in this direction, but what we have now can’t really be considered a real “Progress page” just because they named it like that.
I wonder if @justin’s nice proposal is still in development, or at least taken into consideration, given that it seemed very promising in terms of information and functionality.
Not sure if I’ve missed it or it’s missing but have we lost the ability to see what episodes we’ve watched (or not) for a given show and season? I used that feature a lot for when I’ve later realised I’ve missed recording an episode on trakt. I just had to manually comb through my history just now to correct my 30 Rock watch stats. Not a good experience at all.
I’m glad you agree on this. Since your “MVP” status, may I please ask you to report this essential missing feature in the “roadmap” and Github pages? Maybe it’ll help to make regular users requests being listened a bit more. The impression is that none (or very few) of the issues raised here in the forum are actively worked on. actually i have no “special” voice due to my status, but i’ll make sure to write a proper post with all use cases after my clavicula operation on monday

Exactly as you say, regular users can’t access it. And that’s very frustrating. I think everyone should be able to have at least read-only access to stay informed about what’s going on with the product development. Thank you very much to keep us informed.
At the moment the impression is that nothing is moving. After a few months since the infamous V3 enforcing, many bugs/requests haven’t been addressed and the overall experience on web is still quite the same (not even comparable with V2).
I don’t quite agree with your second statement. If you look at the commits and updates on GitHub, quite a lot is happening. Nonetheless, yes, a lot of stuff is still missing.

OK, there’s… Progress on the Sorting Options front for the Progress section. We can now sort the shows by Rating, Release Date, Runtime, Title, etc. Choosing one, however, doesn’t seem to stick when it comes to the visual presentation on the profile page. It reverts back to the previous option with the least amount of episodes on top.
@CanePlayz - can you add a specific suggestion to the original ticket - Last Watched as a sorting option. It’s currently missing and it’s, arguably, the most useful one of all. The changes made within the Progress section should also be displayed on the Profile front as well.
Thank you very much for the update. I’m glad something is at least starting to move. After two months, they’ve finally managed to add something as basic as sorting options (even if in a buggy way).
However, I agree that the most useful sorting option - notably the one I was waiting for - is the “Last Watched” one, and that’s precisely what’s still missing. Not to mention, I wonder how anyone can define a “Progress page” something that is not even showing a completion percentage. Totally useless and nonsensical! Thanks to underline this aspect as well in the ticket if possible.
Sometimes I wonder if developers have ever actively used their own product…
