You have used all your community app connections

Short description of the issue

You have used all your community app connections. Disconnect one from your Trakt settings to make room.

  • New user, free account (I assume). All I know about Trakt so far is that Kodi complains about it every time I launch it. Now that I’m mildly curious about Trakt and am trying to integrate Rotten Tomatoes into my Estuary Mod v2 skin, I’m am trying to activate Trakt within the TMDB Helper, Trakt says I have too many app connections and need to delete one to make room for TMDB Helper. The only community app I have connected is couchmoney (not sure where that came from). Am I allowed to have only one app connection in my (free?) tier?

Yep it’s a recent change. Free users are allowed one maximum connection.

What? Than trakt.tv is can not be use as sync watching service at all.
One device doesn’t need syncing.

EDIT: Or maybe one app but many instances could be used? I hope.

The reason I use Trakt is to sync between different apps. What’s the point if it will only link with one app. Useless!!!

@PumpsPivotsFires I do believe your post from a few days ago is relevant here. Your timing was impeccable.

The screws continue to turn.

They don’t even tell you how many connections you can make with VIP, just “more”. More can be 2 or 100. They are not transparent with anything, I don’t get it.

It’s all over the place but you can find out how many you have connected and the max for vip here:

Thanks for the insights, all.

Well, I have 4 Apps connected at the moment, but I guess if I need to reauthorize it won’t work anymore!

That would be another slap in the face for free users, because why would I use a Movie & TV-Show syncing service when I can only connect one App??? Syncing is essential, so in this case it would be time to move on to another service :person_shrugging:t5::pensive_face:

re-auth should work i think. just don’t revoke access.
