I was wondering if we can have a button that we press and adds the selected text in spoiler tag like most forums. I see a lot of posts that forget the ] or the / and the text never gets in tag. It will be very useful i thing.
If you add those b, I icons etc, it just gets… eh. Even if it’s in Trakt style. People who don’t spoiler their comments probably also don’t care about the other rules.
i tried clicking the text style hints at the bottom when i first left a comment thinking they were buttons like you describe but then realising that i have to copy the code in which is more complex (need to use lazy memory)… so i think good idea make those botom text style code things into buttons +1
I want to resurrect this one. I’m writing more comments now and the spoiler thing is giving me a headache. Can you make it clickable or more easy to add (like the screenshot from my first post).
It must be so easy to implement i mean regarding to all the features on the site.
I truly believe that is not this difficult to implement this, the method now is very buggy and can clearly lead to wrong syntax and spoilers be visible.
It’s not as simple as you think to add a GUI based text editor that works well and looks good. If you have something coded already, let me know I spend time on this before and never ended up with a result I was happy with.
What is buggy with the current way? If the correct tags are typed in, then it should work fine.
