when fetching an extended show record via /shows/<trakt_id>?extended=full the updated_at field used to get updated when a new episode is added
Since that API reorg back near the middle of November the updated_at does not appear to be updated when new episodes are added to a TV show.
Detailed description with additional context about the workflow
example: the simpsons traktid=455 updated_at=2025-11-17T12:31:55.000Z
yet episode S37E13 was added after this time.
[late edit] Additionally, for Gold Rush Traktid=34485 I get updated_at=2025-12-02T19:15:06.000Z while another user in Australia is getting 2025-11-17T11:41:39.000Z as does another in Finland.
Is this a fault?
I presume there are multiple API servers to spread the load, are they not all in sync with the latest updates?
I support the DuckieTV app which has been using the Trakt API v2 ever since it was made available back on 2015.
On the production DuckieTV I added South Park and got a updated_at timestamp of 2025-12-03T08:02:35.000Z and 28 seasons
On the same machine, with my development DuckieTV (which is effective the same AngularJS code), and has had South Park loaded on it for over 10 years, if I delete that series and restart DtvDev and add South Park afresh I get only 27 seasons with an updated_at timestamp of 2025-11-17T12:26:28.000Z
What is going on? How can Trakt API servers deliver different data for the same machine on the same IP address?
