I have added all episode details to the show Materchef (UK) on the TMDB website, as on Trakt it is only showing eh first 9 episodes. All episode details for Series 17, currently running on BBC1, have now been added and I can see them when I link to the TMDB website from the show in Trakt. I have manually requested a refresh several times but the episode details are not updating in Trakt and only the first 9 episodes are still showing, episodes 10 to 18 are not being added.
Have I done something wrong or is there something else I should be doing?

In my opinion you handled it the right way. Sometimes it needs two or three days until all details are updated.

I’ve had a similar issue happening with American Idol, the new version:
I’ve been adding new episodes to TMDB, and trakt doesn’t seem to be refreshing the data automatically. Two times now I’ve had to force refresh (still waiting on the current refresh to update before I can mark the most recent episode watched)
Right now it says the last refresh was March 23rd, almost two weeks ago, which I’m certain is when I personally manually refreshed it myself. Looks like I added more episodes about a week ago, so shouldn’t this have automatically updated by itself since then without me needing to force it? Or do I always need to force a refresh on trakt after I add data to TMDB?
Is this issue related to the fact that there’s another American Idol listing from TheTVDB? The way TMDB works required it to be listed as two separate shows there, so that caused some confusion between trakt and some apps too.
Last update is now 5th of April.
Now let’s just hope it automatically updates next time new data is added
New episodes of American Idol show up at American Idol - Trakt.tv which is the ABC version of the show. Season 4 will have the latest episodes. Season 16-19 of the original show were moved to this new one, so your plays will show up on the 2018 version for those episodes now.
