[Bug] Actor page does not load when returning from show/movie

Hi,

In the past I have noticed this and it currently is still happening.

Breakdown:

  • Check a profile of an actor/actress
  • Continue to one of the movies/shows he/she stars in
  • Press back (button on top of the browser or side button of my mouse, same issue)
  • URL text changes but page does not refresh / load. (You stay on the show/movie page)

Example:
url text changes from:
https://trakt.tv/shows/grimm
to:
https://trakt.tv/people/lili-mirojnick?sort=released,asc
But you stay on the Grimm page (in this test)

Browser:

  • Chrome

Recreatable:

  • Issue recreated on at least 2 PC’s

Frequency:

  • Daily, multiple times upon browsing

Anyone else noticing this behaviour? Is this a user, brower or website issue? Can this be fixed?

I’m able to reproduce on Safari 18.4 (20621.1.15.11.10) on macOS 15.4.1 (24E263) so it’s not a user issue/you’re not going crazy! Thanks for the repro steps, hopefully someone is able to investigate in the future.
