So, I hadn’t tried to un-drop a show after the introduction of the feature, as all of my other shows that I wanted gone from my progress page were done so with the “Hide” feature.
However, yesterday i went on to “Drop” those shows so that they can move to the correct category.
Today I tried reinstating some of them and while some did pop up, many did not, no matter if they were completed or had episodes left for me to watch.
Now I don’t even remember what shows I tried reinstating. Is there a way for them to properly go back to my “Hidden/Dropped” section and maybe this bug be addressed?
Looking at your Hidden/Dropped shows I can see some are Hidden and Dropped. What might have happened is that you tried to restore a dropped show that was also in your hidden items, so it didn’t show up on your progress section because of that.
That’s my guess without knowing what show specifically that happened with.
I went into my Hidden section yesterday and clicked on the "Drop all 59 shows (there were 59 shows in the Hidden section). Once I did that, the 59 shows appeared in the Dropped section.
I tried reinstating them from the Dropped section today, but some show up and some don’t. Then, when I went on to drop them all over again, trying to replicate the process, they show up in my Hidden items section again, and not in my Dropped section.
The Andy Griffith Show was among the shows I tried restoring and that didn’t show up. They I found it again in the Hidden section and have since restored it successfully from there.
I can see your hidden section is now empty, so any show you undrop should show up correctly in your progress section. If they don’t, then it’s probably a bug.
They also should undrop automatically if you watch a new episode.
