@Steffe73 I always wondered why you would bother to post these lengthy forum posts (and also give extra work to Sonply) when you could just create a TMDB account and… directly add whatever info you want.
I read some of your past posts when you were asked the same question by Justin and you just replied “They just always block me for no reason”. That… does not make any sense.
If you create another account, how would they possibly know it’s you? Except if you have the exact same name and profile picture, which would be a foolish move.
If all you do is respect the rules and add legitimate information (like what you posted in this thread and many others), and not repeatedly report and bump posts (like you used to do, which got you banned, according to you, even though you say it’s for no reason), then there’s nothing wrong with creating a TMDB account and doing whatever you want yourself.

Keeps blocking my accounts on tmdb. That’s why I can’t add it myself.
So there’s no point for me trying to make a new account.
That’s why I ask here, and usually sonply is kind enough to help.
They go by ip nr from my iPad.
So how many times I change name or email they keeps blocking me
By IP from your iPad?? What??
I may or may not know many people who got banned and simply created another account there (and who are now behaving of course). I don’t know how you came to this conclusion that they know your IP address… that’s not how it works.
Trust me, just create another account with another email, lay low and respect the guidelines, and nothing will happen to you. You won’t get banned.
And moderators don’t know you iPad’s IP address…
actually they can track users by IP. you can even see what IP you’re logged into TMDB with by going to settings>>sessions.
But i don’t know how frequent they go by IP to block users unless he was a huge offender of updating incorrectly contantly. or doing repeat offending things that tmdb may think is very bad in their eyes.

Nevertheless, as you said, they do not monitor every single user’s IP.
So I can reaffirm that, if you lay low and respect the rules, nothing will happen to you.

Yep I agree with that statement. And what ever TMDB mods says user did wrong, Just don’t repeat and move on.

Because they block me within 3 days even if stay low.

Man what did you do. I argued with the mods pretty heavily and I didn’t get banned for that.

ive argued with them before too bc some of their tmdb bible doesn’t make sense sometimes… sometimes i have to bite my tongue bc i’m scared i crossed the line and they might ban me LOL
They do though. Believe me. The moderators can ban users and know their email, username, ip address and other usernames associated with that ip address.
But besides that I agree. Though new users actually do get monitored so even if he did change his ways I think it wouldn’t matter.
If the ban would be lifted in the future such behavior (ban evading) would only lead to make it last longer.
