And if they’re bad, it’s maybe because the studios used AI to generate them?

They also show on TMDB which is where Trakt imports the data from, so probably nothing Trakt can do about that, except use a better source like The TVDB which they dropped due to increased charges.

Yeah those are taglines as you would find them on the bluray covers, official cinema posters etc.

yeah those are called taglines. They are on every movie. And yes some are really bad.
