How can you change the certification of a movie? Cause when I look up the movie Black Box which is a thriller, it turns out to have a G-certification. That can’t be right, right?
General audience seems to be the common rating for this movie, it does have different ratings in different countries, but in the US it seems to be rated G…which is what I assume Trakt uses by default.
So, I cannot make any change to this?
you could, but if it’s incorrect (not official rating for the country) and someone reports the incorrect change, you will probably get warned or banned (They’re pretty strict there), however if you’re willing to take the risk and you have set up an account with TMDB, then this is the section you would change it.

Changing data because you think or feel it’s wrong, is not the way to go and you can bet I’ll be the first to report it lmao.
You can try to make the change on tmdb but what others are saying if you’re not 100% sure, your change will get changed again or reported and possibly get banned from tmdb. You’ll need to do your research and be 100% sure what you think is right is truly right. That’s how user based changes work. There has to be a valid source showing these metadata.
