Hi The Episode of the BBC1 TV Series The Royle Family titled The Golden Egg Cup, a Christmas Special, is present on the TMDB site but the Trakt page isn’t linking to it.

That’s because the Trakt page is an incorrect entry. Like you said, it’s a special, so it’s located in the special season of the main series on TMDb, which you linked already. And on Trakt it’s located there too.
This movie entry needs to get nuked.
PS. Since the specials don’t match up. It still won’t be linked to the correct TMDb entry. TMDb has some questionable content (cast interviews, among others, lmao).
