File in File?

Hello.
I am a big fan of Trakt and just renewed V.I.P. for another year.
I think I may have requested this some years ago probably. But my mental health isn’t too great. My memory is worse!
Sorry, I probably won’t use the correct tech terms! Tech doesn’t like me.

So, I have quite a few lists and scrolling through them all to add something to the bottom list, takes a little time on my android.
For example, I have files, with Christmas Movies to watch. Christmas movie premieres. Christmas TV to watch. Christmas Romance. Kids Christmas. Family Christmas etc.

It would be great if we could put files, inside files. Example
Movies/
----------CHRISTMAS/
---------------------------------Kids Christmas
----------------------------Christmas Romance
------------Mystery Movies/
----_--------------------------------Hallmark Mysteries/
---------------------------------------------------------------------etc

Then the parent directories could even just be
Movies/
TV/

It would make it a lot easier for me.

Is this the same as folders that can contain lists?

Like a “movie” folder. When you open the “Movie” folder you have a folder of “Mystery movies” “Romance movies” “Disaster movies” “Kids movies” etc.
Maybe even further. “movies” open “Mystery Movies” open to “Hannah Swenson mysteries” “Aurora Teagarden mysteries” “Crossword mysteries” open to get the list of “Crossword mysteries”
It would save having to scroll through them all on the straight list format.
But nobody else seems to be requesting this, so I guess it is just me! Too much time on my hands. Don’t get me wrong. I love what you already have. I am happy to donate the fee to the use of VIP features and constant evolving and updating that you do. You ask a really affordable amount for the service, while still making a very usable version for people (like me before I cut the cord) that can’t afford pay. Rather than a large amount for the few that can afford it. Same amount of money made, for less resources.
I appreciate that. I couldn’t currently afford much more and could make do with the free version. But I wanted to support the app, that supported me as a free user and for keeping the VIP price affordable.
I know I am not exactly an angel investor or anything! I think I get more than I pay for. So I hope I don’t sound like I think I have saved you with my small payment that will probably pay a coder for an hour! Definitely means quite the opposite.

For me, the folder with folders would be a good addition. But you have to go with what the most people want. And this isn’t it!
That’s just the way I store my media.

I try to help others find what to watch, especially at Christmas. So when adding things to lists, I have to scroll through Christmas complete. All Christmas movies, all genre, all age ratings. Christmas romance, Christmas for kids, Christmas to be arranged, Christmas PG13, Family Christmas movies. Christmas Premieres, Hallmark Christmas, Lifeform Christmas, Gac Christmas… So just getting past Christmas takes a swipe or two. If it was a “Movie” folder, that you opened to find “Mystery Movies” blah blah “Christmas Movies”
Then open Movies, open Christmas, then separate folders in the Christmas folder as labeled above, I would only have to scroll through all the Christmas folders, if I was arranging Christmas movies.

Ok, to be fair, it probably doesn’t help anyone. Maybe one or 2 people like a list. Probably just me trying to stop my old head from packing up completely. Keep the last brain cell working out and keeping fit. Not dying by frying, when I am asked complicated, mind bending questions like “Do you want a drink of water” the other half of the brain cells died of boredom after disability kicked in. The 3rd half (…) migrated to help talk out of me ass, as my mouth stopped making sense and the other quarter (:roll_eyes: …) died of old age or early onset teenage alcohol poisoning.
So I can be out thought and beaten at chess by the ZX81.
