I for one seem to have quite an amount of shows in my collection I started watching some day but never finished them for one reason or another. May it be possible to implement a filter to show exactly those kinds and mark them in the filter dropdown like “Unfinished” or “Started” or something similar?
Good idea As shows only count as watched if they are 100% watched. I like “Unfinished”.
Late reply, but this is a great idea to differentiate this better. I think this applies to watched and collected items.
Here’s what it does currently:
Watched: 100% watched
Unwatched: less than 100% watched
Collected: 100% collected
Uncollected: less than 100% collected
And here’s my proposed update:
Watched: 100% watched
Watching: more than 0%, but less than 100% watched
Unwatched: 0% watched
Collected: 100% collected
Collecting: more than 0%, but less than 100% collected
Uncollected: 0% collected
I’m not entirely sure about the Watching and Collecting names, but I couldn’t think of anything better.
Tweaked the naming a bit more based on some suggestions in another forum thread I found. Here’s what the new vs. current looks like. I have the new options working and plan to release it early December.
I was able to get the new fade filters (browser based) in these sections: Shows, Show (seasons section), Search (all, shows), People, Collection (shows), History (shows), Lists (all, shows, seasons), Ratings (all, shows)
And the hide filters (server side) in these sections: Shows, Show (seasons section), Search (shows), People, Lists (all, shows, seasons)
New filters:
Current filters:
Proposed solution even surpasses my expectation.
I am confident many will welcome these additions.
Thank you, Justin!
This update is now live on the website. Let me know if you notice any bugs or weird behavior.
How do I get this update please, as my website is still showing old options?
The new options are only available in certain sections. Looks like you’re viewing the history page with episodes and movies? If so, it doesn’t apply to need show based fade/hide filters.
