I’m not sure if this is the right place to report this but I couldn’t find anywhere else. Every time I try to explore different countries in watch now to see if something is available elsewhere, I get taken to a “Get Trakt VIP” (Support Trakt with VIP! - Trakt) after selecting a country. A web page that clearly states that Global Watch Now Links are still a basic feature available on the free plan so I’m not sure why this keeps happening. It happens on both my pc and my mobile in browser, I’ve also tried using different browsers and still experience the same issue. A friend of mine who also uses Trakt has experienced the same problem as well so it’s not just isolated to me.
Is there a reason this is happening and can it be fixed?
Hi, I’m not filtering, simply looking at the watch now links for a single show/film in different countries. I’m not sure how well I can demonstrate with a screenshot but I’ll try.
I’m clicking the watch now icon for a show/film and then changing the country here:
Viewing the global watch now links works fine on the mobile app (which I barely use) but does this every time I try and look through a browser (either PC or mobile), which is my main method of interacting with Trakt.
The VIP page has been clarified to indicate watch now is available for your selected country. The dropdown to switch to all countries and select favorites across countries is a VIP feature.
Maybe @Kristin can also update the linked feature/help post above, from
