I don’t understand why it’s not letting me remove recent searches. I don’t know what else to do about this. I tried clearing cookies and cache, but it didn’t work. Is anyone else having this issue?
Tested it after seeing your post, and I have the same issue on PC.
Welcome to the forums so on the computer you can just click on the search bar and you’ll see the list of recent searches. Next to recent searches you can click the cross on the right side.
On mobile I don’t have a list of recent searches. Are you running android or apple?
Did you watch the video? It’s an android phone.
And OP knows how it works but it doesn’t work.

Have you tried long pressing the recent search just in case? That’s how it works in iOS. Maybe it’s an alternative way to delete in Android.

The long press trick worked, thanks. Not sure if that’s documented anywhere though as i wasn’t aware of it previously.
I have an android, but I have actually tried long press. It didn’t work. I can long press to remove a search if it’s showing up above my keyboard like this on a different site. But with trakt.tv, it’s showing up in the search bar itself.
I’m still having this issue. I tried logging in on the computer and I can’t remove the recent searches there either. 
This is so weird.
