This is a really small thing, but it happens to me a lot when using search. I click on the search box, and then leave the cursor below the search box while I type. Then after I hit enter to run the search, but if the cursor is located over one of the results that pops up, then it goes straight to that page. And if I type and press enter quickly, then the pop-up results are irrelevant since it didn’t update to the full search term yet, and it will go straight to a random page.
I’ve had a similar experience. I have to move my cursor away from the typing area to make sure it doesn’t hover over a search result and take me to that page instead of the overall search results. Basically exactly as @D3r3k23 described it.
Also, to be fair to Trakt, your mouse hovering over an “option” and hitting “enter” is correct functionality.
I don’t think I’d agree that it’s the correct behavior. That’s not how the search bar in Google Chrome works. But that’s not a big deal, the real problem is that results are just a little too slow to appear.
