Hi Team! For the series “The First Frost” (The First Frost - Trakt), the rotten tomatoes page linked is the incorrect one. The ratings and link belongs to a show called “Detective Forst” (Detective Forst | Rotten Tomatoes) which has no correlation to the main series. The First Frost doesn’t have any verified and official rotten tomatoes page. Please remove the RT ratings and the linked URL from the main page since the incorrect low ratings are misleading to the audience. Thanks.
You can report a show or movie in the category invalid metadata or something along with the correct page (if it exists – which in this case it doesn’t), and a support member can fix it.
Its happens a lot with non-mainstream/US content.
ah alright thanks for replying! i have reported the issue on the main series page but i don’t know how long it usually takes to get a response on the same! hoping it’s quick.
In my experience it’s always very quick! But it’s still the weekend now, so don’t hold your breath
Yeah, the wrong links from Trakt titles to Rotten Tomatoes happens a lot, even with mainstream/US content.
I have reported hundreds of titles with incorrect links. (Trakt Support corrects them promptly, just not on the weekends.)
It happens often with sequels, where it links incorrectly to the previous release; with similar named releases; with yet to be released titles, that have no Rotten Tomatoes page; and sometimes just randomly, where the Rotten Tomatoes linked page has no apparent relation to the Trakt page.
I don’t know how the Rotten Tomatoes links are sourced for Trakt, but the links are wrong more often than one might expect.
I’ve removed the Rotten Tomatoes match on that show, please report any shows/movies where you notice this issue.
Thanks for reporting!
