Hi team,
Since last week, my Trakt watch history completely vanished inside Infuse on my Apple TV. Thousands of episodes in my existing library suddenly reverted to “Unwatched” overnight, even though my database didn’t crash.
I’ve used Infuse since 2016. All those shows were already correctly synced and marked as watched inside my library based on my lifetime Trakt history. Now, Infuse completely ignores my Trakt data. It only shows an episode as watched if I physically play it inside the Infuse app right now. My history is still 100% correct and intact on the Trakt website/app, Infuse just won’t pull it.
Key details:
- Device: Apple TV (tvOS) streaming from direct network shares (no Plex/Emby/Jellyfin).
- Scrobbling works: New episodes I watch right now sync to Trakt instantly. The inbound history pull is the only thing broken.
What I’ve already tried:
I already did full troubleshooting: cleared metadata/cache, reinstalled the app, wiped Infuse data from iCloud storage, and revoked/re-authorized Infuse permissions on the Trakt settings page. Nothing worked.
It looks like the Trakt API is refusing to send historical check-in data back down to Infuse. Is there a bug or an API sync issue going on right now?
Thanks!
