The (extremely stupid) change came from the Movie Database, not Trakt.

Black Mirror seasons messed up at TMDB TV Shows

Just sharing the text of a support ticket I just opened with everyone for awareness. TMDB has changed some rule and totally f-ed up the Black Mirror seasons and episodes. See here. Reported Problem for Season 2 - Discuss Black Mirror — The Movie Database (TMDB) Rules are fine but it seems like they always very rigid with applying them and try to fit a square peg in a round hole.
