Items keep getting deleted from watchlist

Short description of the issue

• Almost every time I watch and rate an episode of a show (even old canceled shows) the entire series is removed from my watchlist, and I have to re-add it to my watchlist. Very frustrating. I unlinked all of my streaming services thinking it might be a syncing issue. That did not help.

Why do things get removed from my watchlist after watching them?

This is actually by design. The watchlist is a special “I want to watch” list for you to remember to watch something. Once you watch it, it automatically gets removed. The play is added to your history. In the case of shows, once you watch 1 episode, the site will update and the show will continue showing up on your personal calendar, your continue watching view while there are more episodes to watch, and your progress view otherwise. If it’s by design that it drops ongoing series like Lanterns where the series hasn’t ended yet, then it’s unlike any other watchlist I’ve ever seen and just a bad design.

Hi,
The watchlist here is a “Plan to watch” list. Everything you are currently watching can be found in your continue watching and in your progress section. There is no need to keep them in the watchlist, after you have started watching the item.
