Movie ID appears to be incorrect

Hi there, I think I’ve found a bug. For background this is becuase I use TinyMediaManager to scrape ID info from Trakt. I noticed that Twelve Monkeys had the wrong ID. I thought it was a Tiny Media Manager issue however I’ve found this:

If you to go to:
view-source:trakt . tv/movies/honto-ni-atta-noroi-no-video-34-2009
It looks like this movie ID is:
data-movie-id="680511"

If you go to:
view-source:trakt . tv/movies/twelve-monkeys-1995
It looks like this movie ID is:
data-movie-id="34"

If you to go:
trakt . tv/movies/34
it resolves to
trakt . tv/movies/honto-ni-atta-noroi-no-video-34-2009

If you go to:
trakt . tv/movies/680511
resolves to
trakt . tv/movies/honto-ni-atta-noroi-no-video-34-2009

This seems to be an issue, both ID’s are resolving to the same movie and I can’t tell what the “real” Trakt ID is for trakt . tv/movies/twelve-monkeys-1995

(my apologies for the links, I had to edit them because I was only allowed to put 2 in a post as a new user)

Thanks!

Website urls look up the slug first, then the ID. So there must be a slug for that movie and it’s marching on that first.

Thanks for the reply Justin. Is there a way to edit the slugs?

Please open a Support ticket, and we can manually look at all the slugs and adjust as needed. The slugs keep a history, even if the title changes. I’m guessing that’s what happened in this case.

I think that might’ve been if it was imported before an English translated title was added maybe. If it has the JP script title with only the 34 at the end, the slug would end up being 34. Works like that on tmdb itself too. There the slug is the original language title if I remember correctly.

Thank you. I’m not sure if it’s something I can fix then. I was thinking the ID I have is incorrect but now I’m not sure.
