Movies and TV shows not continuing where I left off

When stopping a movie or TV show on Fire TV, it does not continue where I left off when returning. This is a new problem. It occurs in using the Quicksilver add on to Kodi. I have not changed any settings, and I have looked to verify my settings and and Trakt.tv membership.

How new?

I’ve seen updates from addon devs to address trakt (other addons) so you may want to reach out to the addon developer to check things out. Also, an easy confirmation is to use a different one and see if it works (i can confirm others work fine). Also, there are times when there may be a disconnect or the communication isn’t completed causing the trakt side to not get the info (and vice versa). For the latter it could be the addon as well.
