Did you hover over the checkmark tick?
On a iPad?
If you have a drawingtablet or pencil or something to attach to it. It’s an on hover function I bet.
No pencil,
Just my finger
This is a hover tooltip. It works on an iPad, but only if you’re using an external mouse or trackpad.
Alright thx Justin for ansver
Ie this feature is useless if not having these tools on iPad
I hope this Will come soon to the apps, so it can be usefull.
Best regards Stefan
Yes, this was announced for only website. We’re working on some updates for the mobile app with similar info too.
Interesting tidbit, Apple devices with touchscreens have, since the very first iPhone, used a type of haptic display that can actually sense when your fingers are hovering just over the display and could actually using software to make hovering trigger events. Samsung released some phones several years ago that did this as a gimmick feature, but it has since fallen out of favor and they’ve gone back to just accepting physical touches.
The reason why Apple bothers to install such displays and not actually use the hovering feature is to create a more accurate screen tap. When your finger touches the display, the screen not only knows where it’s being touched, it also knows what angle your finger approached from and leverages that information to know a little bit better what you were intending to tap.
Apple devices COULD access the hover values of a website, just like a mouse cursor, but they probably won’t ever do it without you needing to attach an actual mouse.
That is pretty cool actually!
