New Login with email and not Username

Why can’t I login with Username anymore? For ages (since the beginning) I used Username to login. Now only eMail is possible (which I don’t recall and my emailarchive does not have it as well and it goes back to 1999)

1. How can I login with Username again
   /
2. How do I get the email I used for my Username?
   or
   Is it now that my decades of Info is just gone?
   Support : Trakt does not help!

On a similar thread not long ago, it was suggested by one of the staff to contact trakt support. Below is a link to that thread. I think you need to submit a ticket via that trakt support page.

Having a small issue, i’ve had an account on trakt for a few years now and always logged in with a username. That is what is currently saved in my password manager. Yes, just send an email to support@trakt.tv with your username and we can get you logged back in. Your data isn’t gone.
