Hi,
When someone updates TVDB or any source Trakt is using to populate its own DB, previous plays are not removed but are lost. They cannot be interacted with in the UI:
Which cause some weird display. Problem is, some modifications on those databases are not very relevant (aired dates or season segmentation), and some shows pop up with false-unseen episodes, so I have to re-enter views. It’s a hassle but I can live with that.
What is more problematic is that the total view count will be wrong adding “orphaned” views to “regular” ones.
I tried setting an API app to do this the hard way but the OAuth configuration was too much time and resource consuming.
Would it be possible to add a new kind of filter (even if it can only be activated in settings) that basically says : “Show me episodes/movies that have been deleted from DBs” which could be really helpful for clean-up? Futhermore, it’s springtime, the season for clean-up.
Thanks!
