Why is it no more possible to pay
with paypal ?
We unfortunately are no longer able to offer PayPal as a payment option due to changes in how our subscription plans are managed. To make sure pricing and plan updates remain consistent and reliable for all users, we’ve consolidated payments to our current supported methods – Stripe and the respective app stores. If you have a specific need for a Paypal subscription, please reach out via support (support@trakt.tv) and I’ll see if there’s anything we can do on our end.
@Kristin to clarify, does your statement mean this is no longer valid:
Your prior statement indicated those already using PayPal could continue to do so. Your latest statement appears to contradict that.
Sorry for not clarifying. What I said previously still stands. Anyone who is currently on a recurring subscription through Paypal will continue to be charged that way. We’ve only removed the option for new subscriptions or changing subscriptions (changing from yearly plan to 2-year plan, etc.).
