is it possible to switch payment methods from PayPal to a credit card without losing 1-year badge?

Yes, you will first need “cancel” the current VIP membership then sign up using Stripe for a credit card payment. Keep in mind, it charges immediately so you might want to re-sign up closer to your expiration date.

The problem is that my PayPal subscription is inactive, still I cannot change payment methods.

I cannot upload images so I send links to images.

I cancelled the membership at PayPal. You can sign up again closer to your expiration date and you’ll retain your VIP years badge.

i was able to do was keep Paypal from charging me again. Is that what you mean by cancelling?

Yes, once you cancel the automatic renewal, you should be able to sign up again.

what if i delete account on the app? will I lose everything, or can I get it back? will I be able to use the same email and user name?

Did you revoke PayPal to pay for trakt ViP from PayPal website? When do revoke merchant from PayPal, you’ll need to also remove method of PayPal payment from the merchant side (in this instance trakt), then add PayPal again in order to add the new token key since the revoked token key won’t work anymore. Kinda like when you revoke trakt for a 3rd party app, you have to re-authenticate. Hope that helps.

Deleting the app won’t do anything as your data is not app driven. It’s database driven and it’s stored on trakt servers. Deleting the app must likely won’t resolve your PayPal issue.

Don’t delete your account. You will lose your data if you do that.

I am not deleting anything, but no one is telling me anything of any substantial value. So, if there is anyone in charge who can put all the pieces together of this way toooo long chat, please tell me what to do, step by step. Don’t be vague, and don’t tell me something that might not work, because that’s all I have gotten so far.

Normally, if you go to the VIP page with an active VIP account, you have the option to cancel it. Try doing it in the website, if the app isn’t working when you try to cancel it.

Once you cancel it, you should be able to sign up again with another paying method, if you wish.
However, if that option isn’t showing up for you, there might be a bug, so we need to know exactly what is happening on your end, so please, if you can, try sending an image of how the page is for you after you cancel it.

See the attached picture. It says blocked. It could be because it shows a picture of a bank account that I do not have anymore. That is a PNC logo.

On yalls website, the only options I have are VIP FORUMS, PAYMENT HISTORY and RENEW NOW. When I click on RENEW NOW the page tries to change, but it stays the same. I have tried opening in a new window. Nothing works.
What should I do now?
