The tvOS version of Trakt has a unique sort for Up Next that isn’t available for iPad. It’s sorted by a combination of aired activity and watched activity, similar to some of the options discussed here: Additional Sorting option for Up Next
Could you please add this sorting as an option on other platforms like iPad? I watch 90% of my TV on iPad, but I find the sort in tvOS to be much better. Thanks!
Do you have an example or screenshot of the differences you’re seeing? The tvOS app doesn’t have any different logic compared to the iOS/iPadOS app that I know of.
@Ohifriend you’re right! I thought I was seeing a mix of recently watched and recently aired shows similar to Apple’s “TV” app, but the sort in Trakt on tvOS is the equivalent of “Release Date (Ascending)”. Definitely my mistake here.
No worries. You can adjust the sort if you prefer via your account settings and it’ll apply to each client, but I assume you’ve already done that. Hopefully in the future we can offer a more accurate sort based on your expectations.
