Yes, Plex scrobbling already exists and is not related to this new feature.
Correct. But I would like Plex history to sync with Trakt history
It’s off topic for this functionality but I’ve used GitHub - Taxel/PlexTraktSync: A python script that syncs the movies, shows and ratings between trakt and Plex (without needing a PlexPass or Trakt VIP subscription) for this before.
I moved this to a new topic since it’s not related to the new Streaming Scrobbler. And yes, I also recommend the above project to sync existing plays from Plex.

If I knew more than zero, or had a walk through step by step to setup the python script, I would totally do that. But I’m not very knowledgeable
I’m beginning to realise that the Plex-Trakt-sync python script is the best bet for me to try in this instance. But I’m not familiar AT ALL with python or the steps needed to do this.
Is there a step by step (for Dummies like me) guide that would take me through a windows install? I’ve looked at the github, in depth, but it seems like pig latin to me.
