Private List Empty on iPhone App But Populated On Website

Hi folks,

Just had a little bit of a shock when I went to look at a private list of mine where I have one collaborator on the app on my iPhone to find the list empty. Luckily I looked on the website and it’s populated on the website.

Does anyone know why this may be happening? Is there some sort of setting on the list that’s making it do this?

Seems like trakt are having serious buggs / errors just now on all apple apps(iOS) don’t know how to fix,

Can you provide some more details on the issue? Specifically OS and app versions, and even more useful would be a screenshot or recording of the app

Hi, sure. However since reporting, when I click into the list I now see the movies - which I didn’t before. However the list still looks empty on the list overview screen.

I’m currently on iOS 26.1. App version is 2.8 (892), would that be correct?

Scratch that just tried to go into the list again on the app and it’s empty.

Ok it seems to be at least reproducible in some way, I’ll see if someone can take another look on the server side but not sure exactly when. Either way thanks for reporting

@Patty_Attack Give it another go, I believe I managed to find the root cause of this issue :+1:

Edit: For now the server has been adjusted to solve this issue until it can be revisited.
There appears to be a server issue causing this to happen for lists that have collaborators and it’s otherwise still being investigated.

For future reference, if anyone runs into this issue where on iOS their collaboration list is completely empty even though other clients are loading and force quitting doesn’t solve it, the current workaround is to delete and reinstall the app.
