Since the V3 update my progress page has been unusuable and I don’t even understand some things about it. My biggest issue is the way it’s shown now.

I’ve been using trakt.tv for 15 years and I added pretty much every single episode I’ve ever watched, even if it was just a random TV episode on vacation somewhere. My progress page looks like this now:

It’s a mess. There are hundreds of shows and so many shows I never finished and don’t plan to. I absolutely have no overview here anymore which new season just came out because all shows are mixed together.

In the old version I was hiding all shows I dropped (so there were like maybe 15 shows visible), but now they’re all back. I spent a few minutes clicking the dots > drop show > confirm, but it takes too long and I already hid them that in the old version. Why do I have to do that again for every show I’m not interested in?
Then I saw the filter symbol at the top right but it’s literally doing nothing when I toggle Hide Watched or Hide Watchlisted. Are these buttons supposed to do something? I assumed the greyed out shows are the ones I used to hide but I don’t understand how to hide them again, even with the toggle. (I’m on the newest Firefox version 150.0 and also tried with disabled Adblocker, private mode and Edge.)

Another question - Why do some shows (e.g. The Boys) say exactly how much time is left watching and other shows (e.g. Euphoria) only say Premiere? The remaining time/episodes is the thing I care about.

TL;DR

My watchlist is a mess and I don’t understand why all shows I used to hide are back now. How do I quickly hide them again?

If I understood the Trakt side correctly the ‘hide’ was deprecated and those should all be ‘dropped’. For the ones you don’t want to see, click the 3 dots and select ‘drop show’.

I was actually worried that this might be the only solution/answer.

Going through hundred shows and having to do three clicks plus loading time for every single one of them is such a pain. My progress page was already sorted before and it’s kind of insane that I have to do it again now and waste time for it.
If that really is the answer then it’s just another reason for me to keep looking for an alternative because the more I use the new design the more issues I come across.

it was an option to mass change them all but only on the v2 site unfortunately.

Oh my God, you are an absolute life saver! Thank you so much. I think this worked perfectly. I did go through settings but must have missed that option somehow. Thank you so much for making my progress page usable again!

No worries. Glad you’re sorted. Yeah settings for non VIP (v3) doesn’t show this but the link goes to V2.
