Is there a way, to change or edit the TV Show Status? Or where do you get the status, such as if they were cancelled and so on?

Yup you can edit that on Tmdb, once you have an account set up with them, on the main show page, go to Overview then edit from the drop down menu, from there you will see the show status options.
