For one, tt32524977 is exist in the db, and can be searched by movie name, but when search by imdb id, it doesn’t show.
Did you check if the IMDb id is added to TMDb?
If it isn’t I think it can’t be searched.
can you help me check, you lost me.
However, i found the content exist in TMDB as well
Can you link that page here?
When seaching on IMDB with that ID: tt32524977 the page gets redirected to this one: tt27935510
Maybe that ID was a duplicate and they merged their pages. If you search on trakt for the second ID I sent, you can find the movie normally.
My account is already a teenager but IMDb search has given mixed results. Can someone please check ..?
Saiyyan Thanedaar ~ cannot find with name
tt37231475 ~ still no luck
This is only one example. I have lost count of how many met the same fate. But some work fine. Not sure what’s the issue. Adding stuff on tmdb is cumbersome if you only have a mobile ![]()
Welp.. This seems nonexistent

Hi, that page needs to be on TMDB so we can import it. Do you have more information on that movie so I can add the page there? Or you can add it there if you want.
If you can’t find a title, then please look for it on TMDB, if it’s not there, then we can’t import it to our database.
Thanks for replying. Yes, I’m a member there.. But haven’t added any stuff lately. So I’m aware of the drill. I marvel if one is searching via an actual (read existing) IMDb id.. Shouldn’t we be able to import say a primitive/barebones version of it(?) Perhaps the devs can comeup with something for such situations..
IMDB isn’t an open datasource, so we can’t get data from their API, like we can do with TMDB, that’s why it is not possible to import pages from there.
There is this foss frontend called libremdb. But scraping data with something like that will open a legal pandora box I guess.
