The notable bad UI choice (as someone who overall likes the new UI)

I really like the new UI, except for really 1 thing.

The tracked checkmark. There are 2 issues with it really

  1. On the continue watching page, it’s a dark purple check, on a black background. I can see it, but I have to LOOK for it. It’s the element that people interact with the most. Make it prominent, and CONTRAST. After it’s watched, it turns white, and is thicker, and is much easier to see, but there is no need to interact with it anymore.
  2. On the individual show page, the colour paradigm is reversed. Now it’s white when you haven’t seen it, and purple if you have seen it. The colour training I got on one page, communicates the exact opposite thing on this page.
