Trakt Sync Pop-up in Kodi 19

When I updated to Kodi 19 I spent a few days trying to figure out why the Trakt plugin didn’t seem to be working. Didn’t have any any indication it was syncing my collection.

After a couple days I realized it /was/ syncing my collection, it’s just that the Sync pop-up didn’t seem to be a thing any more.

Was the sync pop-up actually removed? Could it be user configurable instead? Is it a hiccup with my install?
